Sifu Gregory LeBlanc has been involved in formal martial arts training since 1979 and has been teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu for 9 years. Greg's earliest experience in the martial arts was studying Shotokan Karate at the age of 6. At the age of 13 he began his training in Kung Fu with Sifu Kam Yuen, studying Northern Shaolin and Tai Chi Praying Mantis. As a teenager Greg wrestled in high school, studied Judo and competed in various local tournaments. Later he studied Long Fist, Doubled-edged Sword, Seven Star Praying Mantis and Ba Gua Zhang (Yin Fu) with Shirfu Jason Tsou.

Greg also studied Danzan Ryu Jujitsu with David Bellman Sensei and Mike Esmailzadeh Sensei; and Aikido with Steven Seagal Sensei and Toshishiro Obata Sensei. Additionally, Greg trained as an Aikido Uchi Deshi (live in apprentice) at Tenshin Dojo for two years in his early twenties. The experience of being Uchi Deshi proved to be an intensive and severe immersion into Japanese martial arts culture, requiring many hours of training per day and being at the service of the teacher 24/7.

In 1997 Greg began studying Wing Chun Kung Fu under Sifu Gary Lam (Lam Man Hoc), eventually becoming an indoor student and serving as his assistant coach from 2000-2005. During this time he trained exclusively with Sifu Lam, attending public and private Wing Chun classes 15 hours per week for 7 years. In June of 2005 Greg LeBlanc was given authorization to teach Sifu Gary Lam's entire Wing Chun system; Greg is Sifu Lam's first certified coach. Most recently Greg has been studying the Filipino Martial Arts with Grandmaster Max Pallen (www.senkotiros.org) and Sensei Mike Esmailzadeh; additioanlly Greg is pursuing an interest in western boxing with Coach Guadalupe Acosta.
