PHASE THREE
Phase Three creates the final fusion of structure, concepts, attributes, and reflexes into an adaptive, fully functional system. The focus is on randomized free hand training, as well as some topics that are considered more advanced, requiring the material in Phase One and Two to have been fully integrated.
The three phase system offers a progressive, step-by-step experience of the complete Wing Chun system. The core curriculum offered in the 3 phases is intended to put the student in the position of being capable of finding their own expression of the Wing Chun skills. The core training acts like the roots and trunk of the system, the branches that grow, or bloom, become that practitioners personal version of Wing Chun skill's. This is why you will see students of the same teacher having different presentations, expressions and understanding of the same root system.
Page 4 of the outline lists the concepts and theory of the Wing Chun system (available to students). Each major part of the system has outlines that are provided to the student as they complete that part of the system. LWC also offers short focus clinics bi-monthly (open to current students), that provides a complete presentation on a given part of the system (past clinics included: Kicking, MYJ, SNT, CK, BJ, and Pole).
